there is 100% a twitter account @IsSMHintheLibrary and it’s just “nah they’re not here you’re good” or “oluransi is crying under a table and birkholtz is singing, stay away” or “just bittle, he’s watching hockey but the sound’s on low” or “RED ALERT NURSE, CHOW, AND POINDEXTER! STAY AWAY!!!!”

ngozi ukazu is honestly so iconic, like imagine still making your comic available online for free when you’re literally going to be selling it and she always provides us with extra information, like the notes and tidbits on her twitter and on bitty’s twitter, while still creating a very meaningful and enjoyable comic??? That’s iconic behaviour and i, for one, will say how grateful i am for her

I know everyone’s chirping Jack for the “hockey is a fun sport” comment but honestly? Jack Zimmermann, who was pushed into the world of hockey from birth and overdosed because of the anxiety caused by the intense pressure, getting to a point in his life where he genuinely enjoys what he’s doing is making me emotional and I’m so proud of him

What she says: I’m fine.

What she means: Yes, fine, Bitty SHOULD call home but that’s not all on him. His mother is calling but is she leaving messages? Couldn’t she have texted something to Bitty just to de-escalate his fear? If she knows her son so well then she should know that he’s possibly freaking out. And don’t get me started on Coach. Call your mama? SIR YOUR SON IS WORRIED SICK! Just acknowledge that something big happened and set a time to talk! Plus is calling during the biggest party of the year really the best time to talk? No…go to bed Suzanne, get your head together and be the grownup…

I’ve always wanted this kind of happiness for Jack. And I’ve read so many fics where he decides to come out after winning the cup because it proves he’s a good hockey player and blah blah blah. But it just makes me so happy to watch him be happy. He just won the cup. There is something so incredibly brave, something which he probably doesn’t realize he’s being, by kissing Bitty on national television and saying “who cares?” Those two words are so impactful for me. He knows that nobody that matters cares. All of his teammates, his family. They don’t care. They just love him and are proud of him. And I think he’s finally proud of himself. Sixteen year old Jack is quaking.
