Jack seems like the kind of person that would get lost in a resort town and while everyone’s looking for him he’s just hanging out at the candle shop thoroughly enjoying watching the employees dip and carve wax.

Bitty finally makes him a t-shirt for trips like this that says:

IF LOST, PLEASE RETURN TO @omgcheckplease

I love the idea of Bitty opening his twitter and finding lots of pictures that strangers have tweeted at him of like Jack wandering down the street, sitting in cafes, reading the historical plaques, falling asleep on random park benches, petting random dogs, etc

re: demi!jack i agree thank u.

ericbittlle:

yes this is v much a Good

  • jack zimmermann who never realized he was demi because kent was his best friend for a long time before they started hooking up
    • (as much as jack was denying it there really was a strong emotional connection between them back in jrs sorry not sorry)
  • for years he didn’t even know because there was kent, and then the OD, which kind of stopped all attempts at a love life for a while
  • but then he goes to samwell
  • and all the boys are just ? casually hooking up?
  • and i mean LOGICALLY jack knows that’s Normal Bro Culture, but he doesn’t understand how they can just do that
  • every time a girl came up to him during the rare kegster he’d attend, leaning her body against his, smelling like beer and perfume, jack would always make sure she had a water bottle and then politely excuse himself back to the safety of his room
  • and for a while jack didn’t know what was wrong with him, because he liked the idea of being with a girl, he liked how they looked and smelled and felt, but every time one actually came up to him, he’d get this sense of dread in his stomach and panic
  • and then shitty came along
  • jack and him were shooting the shit one day by River Quad towards the end of their frog year when shitty started on a rant about the asexual/aromantic spectrum and how some total fucking asshat, brah, tried to tell him that it wasn’t really a part of the LGBT+ community
  • And sweet lil Jack was just like. huh. interesting.
  • anyway that night Jack spent a good three hours researching the ace spectrum, lgbt, genders, etc etc, until he stumbled across demisexual and nearly cried in relief because he wasn’t broken, he wasn’t weird, this is a thing other people are too and that’s okay
  • Throughout the next three years there’s a few other girls, Samantha who he hooked up with once and regretted it immediately after, Kate who was his winter screw date sophomore year (they dated for a few months, actually, it was good)
  • Then camilla, of course, who Jack didn’t realize he was even dating until well after they broke up.
  • Then, bitty
  • When they finally kissed, it felt… right. There was no dread, no anxiety or regret. It was what Jack wanted more than anything in that  moment.
  • And the first time they do have sex? Jack doesn’t event think about how he felt with those other girls– it’s worlds away from what he feels now, as he stares down at Bitty’s flushed face, a tight heat in his belly when he hears Bitty’s soft moans
  • (idk where im going with this i just love demi jack a lot ok thank u for your time)

hello friends please if you can, I’d like you to imagine Jack Zimmermann, ding dong of my heart, being really bad at interacting with cashiers, waiters, etc. (like I am), and that is why Bitty comes home one day to find Jack with his head in his hands over a stack of save-the-dates for their wedding that read “Jack and Bitty” in a gorgeous font. And Bitty is trying to be supportive, but when Jack looks at him morosely and says, “When they asked for our names, I forgot your name is Eric,” Bitty can’t hold back his giggles. So he kisses his sweet fiance’s face and assures him the save the dates are actually much cuter this way and they are keeping them.
