michaelarden: Two years ago today I married the man of my dreams. I sometimes wake up before he does in the morning and feel overwhelmed with how lucky and grateful I am that we found each other in this space and time. A tinge of sadness often comes knowing that with each day our time on this earth together grows shorter. To love someone, I think, is to admit to our own fragile and fleeting mortality. And yet, we must love. I am so proud to walk through this world with him. He teaches me, inspires me, drives me insane and challenges me to not only live but to thrive. I can’t wait to see what trouble we get ourselves in next. Happy Anniversary @andymientus
michaelarden: Proud to be married to and love this man. It’s sometimes easy to take for granted the struggles so many went through for our ease and rights. I am forever indebted to the women and men who toiled in the shadows of fear, who suffered persecution, who raised their fists and voices and who gave their lives so that I might wake up next to the person I love each morning. I am proud to be a part of the 🌈 community and will endeavor to spend today and the rest of my days paying homage to our great history. Let’s remember and celebrate. Happy Pride! 📷 @banal_photos
