Did anyone else feel like Chuck cut Kevin off before he could say something that he didn’t want Sam and Dean to hear?

And is anyone else a little bit suspicious of how happy Kevin was? hmmm.

Oh, definitely. It didn’t feel right at all. It didn’t feel Kevin Kevin. And Chuck definitely cut him off too abruptly to be a coincidence, he def blocked him before he could say something “inappropriate”. Kevin’s appearance was pure emotional manipulation over Dean and Sam, imo.

I am partly convinced that Kevin was blackmailed by Chuck into this in order to emotionally manipulate the Winchesters into trusting him. Kevin said the words:

“I always trusted you”

to which Dean replied “yeah and that ended well”

Kevin didn’t reply. He didn’t act mad or hurt or anything. That was just so not Kevin.

Perhaps the “I always trusted you” was Kevins way of trying to warn the Winchesters that Chuck was up to no good. I always trusted you and it ended terribly for me. If you trust Chuck it will end terribly for you.

my brother was an artist and he used to say ‘artists paint a certain thing until they hate it’ and it made me think about the fact that grantaire would paint enjolras alot and maybe it was in hopes that one day he would hate him but in the end grantaire just loves him so much more.
