Jack graduated and the kiss happened in May of 2015 right???
so jack and bitty realize their feelings for each other
and then barely a month later same sex marriage is legalized
ACTUALLY it’s legalized June 26th, only a little over a week before Jack visits bitty for July 4th
like….. you canNOT convince me… when they see each other…. and they’re so in love….. that the supreme court ruling wasn’t the only thing running through both of their heads
and yeah it’s crazy soon but you KNOW that when bitty woke up to the news he wrote about twenty six different versions of a text to Jack about it and tried not to think about their future, and how he’s now able to get married in his home state of Georgia (even though they’d probably live in providence bc hockey it’s the thought that counts though)
like…. you just…. you can’t convince me that the fact that same sex marriage was legalized was not haunting them both the entire time bye
